On December 1st, the community of Leasburg ushered in the holiday season with the first ever tree lighting ceremony. This new tradition began by the planting of a new 16 foot spruce tree in Fulton Park which was dedicated to past Leasburg residents that played an integral part in the development of the town. As this event continues in the coming years, we will steadily add to our decorations in order to continue beautification of our city. Songs were sung and cookies and cocoa were served. Santa even made an appearance arriving in style on a four-wheeler! A good time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who attended and look forward to seeing you next year.
